ROYAL CANIN BREED SPECIFIC FOOD - BRITISH SHORT HAIR

Choosing the right wet or dry food for your cat is important. Not all foods are created equal, and some are better suited for specific breeds of cats. Royal Canin British Shorthair specific cat food is a great option for pet owners who want to ensure their cat is getting the best possible nutrition. This food is specifically designed to meet the needs of the breed, taking into account factors such as size, age, and lifestyle. If you're looking for the best possible food for your cat, then Royal Canin British Shorthair specific cat food should be at the top of your list!

KITTEN STAGE (0 to 12 months old)

When a kitten is born, its digestive system is still immature; it continues to improve throughout the next few weeks of its life. It's critical to offer food that is good for a young kitten's digestive system. They require highly digestible proteins with adapted fibre content. Royal Canin's Kitten food is available in both wet and dry varieties. However, we recommend mixing the two kinds together as they will both help boost a kitten's natural defences and supply them with enough energy to get into mischief. Kittens can be very curious creatures and supporting their natural immune defences against them eating grass and dirt is a huge bonus. Kittens are also highly energetic as they are growing up through their child, toddler, and teenage stages all in a single year.

ADULT STAGE (12 Months+)

British Shorthaired cats can be prone to weight gain, usually sitting between 4-8kgs. They are not overweight however; this weight comes from their thicker muscles and not fat. They are built more solid and heavy which can put extra stress on their joints so Royal Canin formulated their British Shorthaired wet and dry food to include L-carnitine to help maintain a strong muscle. It is also enriched with taurine and Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) to support a healthy cardiac function. The kibble pieces were specifically designed for the British Shorthair cat's jaw to make it easier for them to grasp and encourage chewing to help break down tartar formation and keep their teeth clean.

Royal Canin also suggests switching things up every once in a while and choosing another wet food pouch to support your cat's overall health.  Why not give Intense Beauty a go for their soft and fluffy fur. Maybe even some Health Urinary System support when they are feeling a bit off.

WHY NOT COMBINED THEIR FOOD WITH AN ENRICHMENT PRODUCT?
