Traditional, very fine noble aroma hop. Mild and pleasant, slightly spicy. Traditional German variety developed in the area of the same name.
Maturity Medium - early Traditional, very fine or noble aroma hop.
While we endevour to provide correct information on the alpha acid content of our hops, the AA content varies from crop to crop. Thus, we are at the mercy of what is supplied to us from the wholesaler.
Possible Substitutions: German Spalt, German Select, US Tettnang, US SAlpha Acidz, German Hersbrucker
Typical Beer Styles: Lager, Ale, Pilsner, Weizen, Lambic, Alt, Kvlsch, Munich Helles
Additional Information: Largely confined to the Tettnang area near Lake Constance.
