Choosing to purchase your own CO2 cylinder is generally a more cost-effective option for periods longer than 12 months compared to renting from a gas supplier. If you're carbonating your own beer, without accounting for any wastage, you should be able to carbonate and dispense approximately 200L or more than 10 x 19L kegs. For commercially carbonated beer, you can expect to dispense about 400L or 8 x 50L kegs.
