The camlock couplers and adaptors are manufactured to interchange with all product produced to Mil Spec A-A 59326, which supersedes Mil-C-27487. No standard exists for the 1/2 Inch (15mm) and 8 Inch (200mm) fittings.

SAFETY:
• UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should camlock couplings be used in COMPRESSED AIR or STEAM applications.
• Welding of Camlocks: Coupling made using the die cast process MUST NOT be welded! Welding the couplings changes the integrity of the coupling.
• Dust Caps and Dust Plugs are not to be used in any pressure applications for safety and environmental reasons.

CAMLOCK TYPE CLASSIFICATION:
A - Male grooved adapter and a female pipe thread of the same size.
B - Female camlock end and a male pipe thread of the same size.
C - Female camlock on one end and a male hose tail on the other.
D - Female camlock end and a female pipe thread of the same size.
E - Male camlock on one end and a male hose tail on the other.
F - Male grooved adaptor and a male pipe thread of the same size.
