MaxTensor’s exclusively-patented system features an all-metal construction, designed to provide maximum quality, reliability, and ease of use when joining and tensioning wire.
The MaxTensor joiner range is available in two sizes:
- Medium: Suitable for joining and tensioning fencing wire and fabricated fences. Designed for 1.8mm to 3.2mm wire with a maximum load of 400kg (3.9kN).
- Large: Ideal for joining and tensioning fencing and horticultural wire. Suitable for 3.3mm to 4.2mm wire with a maximum load of 600kg (5.8kN). The large size is now available with a Release Tool for adjustment and re-use.
MAX Engineering
- Zinc Alloy Housing: Both inside and out, MaxTensor is designed with maximum corrosion resistance and durability for all conditions.
- Stainless Steel Spring: Chosen as the most effective spring material following extensive field trials and extended salt water spray testing.
- Cam Wedge Mechanism: Made from hard alloy material, selected over plastic and ceramics, to provide excellent resistance to corrosion and withstand the wear-and-tear of vibration.
- The roller teeth are carefully calibrated for maximum grip without requiring large teeth that could damage or break high tensile wires.
MAX Usability
- Designed for Ease of Entry: The patented design of MaxTensor Joiners and Tensioners features smooth entry points to save time when feeding-in the wire.
- Increased Wire Spacings: The specifically-designed wide gap between wires minimises condensation, which helps protect the wire against corrosion inside the joiner and makes it easier to fit and use the tensioning tool.
