Fruits
There are only a select few fruits that are good to plant in January as it's the middle of summer and the weather can be too damaging for new plant growth. Fruit trees such as apples should be planted at the start of Winter in order for them to be fully grown and bear fruit going into the next summer.
However, Summer is the perfect time to start planting those winter berries. Such as Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Cherries, Peach, Nectarine, Lemon and Oranges
