Ingredients for the Deck Chair - American Standard Lager
3.8kg - Briess 2 Row Base Malt
900g - Briess Flaked Corn
60 min - 20g Hops #1
15 min - Whirlfloc Tablet
2 Packet - Fermentis S-23 Ale Yeast
Brew Time: 3 - 4 weeks

Instructions
Mash Schedule: 65°c for 90 mins then mash out at 75°c for 10 mins. (optional: add 5.2pH buffer to strike water)
Lauter/Sparge: Sparge with enough 75°c water to achieve 28L pre-boil volume
Boil Schedule: Boil for 60 mins, adding hops and whirlfloc as indicated.
Fermentation: Rehydrate yeas and pitch at 15°c. Slowly decrease the temperature to 10°c and ferment for 2 weeks or until gravity reaches 1.008. Transfer to bottle or keg and condition for a minimum of 4 weeks at cool temperatures (2-3°c) (Optional: Rack to a secondary fermenter after primary fermentation and lager at 2-3°c for 4 weeks, then transfer to keg or bottle.)
