Known as “rauchbier” in Germany, smoke-flavoured beers were virtually unknown in the U.S. until Alaskan Smoked Porter was developed in 1988. The dark, robust body and pronounced smoky flavour of this beer make it an adventuresome taste experience.

We mill all grains included in the kits! The grains will be mixed together during the milling process

Note: If Whirlfloc/Deltafloc is unavailable, Irish Moss will be substituted

Dry grain weight is approximately 6 kgs, designed to make a 20L brew in a Grainfather system.
